About the wine
Single-vineyard Pinot from famous Russian River
- Round, rich and supple, this primo single-vineyard Pinot is from your 8-time winemaker of the year – and it comes with all the bells and whistles!
- What's that mean? For starters, the fruit comes from a top vineyard in Russian River Valley – one of the best Pinot AVAs in the US. And then Daryl expertly finessed all of its ripe, rich flavors – even aging it in oak barrels for a velvety touch.
- This Pinot is a big deal - and you get it for a tiny price because you fund Daryl directly. But not for long – don't hesitate on picking up a bottle or two while it's still on the site, because this red vanishes faster every year.

I love it now but it will age well for 5 years easily.
Serving advice
Pinots don't need much air. I like to drink at room temperature or just below and pour straight from the bottle.
Food match
I love pinots with white meat especially pork. I also love with pizza. Another great pairing is Oysters Kilpatrick.

- Meet Daryl... a 35-year veteran of the wine biz, credited eight-times as Winemaker of the Year, named by Food & Wine Magazine as one of 11 visionaries to change the world of wine... and oh yes, he served up his wines at the Oscars and Emmys two years in a row! Safe to say, the man's accomplished.
- Working as the senior white and red winemaker at Penfolds, his 1986 Penfolds Grange was arguably one of the top 3 Granges ever made - 98 points from Spectator and Robert Parker. And now that he works for you, he loves showing off wines from Australia and his California home – Sonoma and Russian River Valley.
