About the wine
This Cabernet is on fire - just like your grill
The Winemaker of the Year has done it again with a Cab that holds its 94+ average customer rating. If you want a jammy, candied and humming evening…
Uncork a couple of Stephen’s bold reds, stoke the coals, and let the flames kiss a few potatoes and marinated ribeyes.
If you didn’t have a party planned - too bad, the crowd’s coming anyway. That's just what happens when you bring Stephen's wines around.
Best before
This ages nicely for the next couple of years. That makes it a good candidate to pick up a few extra bottles for the long term.
Serving advice
Like any good young red wine, this Cab benefits with a little air once it is opened. You could decant the bottle all at once and get the breathing kicked up a level.
Food match
My plan is to fire up the Weber and assemble a mixed grill of fingerling potatoes, fresh asparagus and a beautiful 3 finger rib eye. This is Liz's favorite meal and I enjoy making it for her. We'll get the party started with sparkling. Of course we'll be enjoying a glass or two of my Cabernet too.

Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
