About the wine
Reserve, oak-aged Petite Sirah - a plush 90+ rated Angel-favorite
- This bold, mouth-filling red packs a plush punch of brooding dark berry flavors wrapped up in a long, lush finish that’ll have you swooning.
- Stephen sourced your robust red from certified sustainable vineyards in the heart of Lodi wine country, home to some of the finest Petite Sirah in the state – and Stephen’s the perfect winemaker to bring it to you!
- This rich Petite Sirah loves company – your champion winemaker suggests sipping this red with a few close friends. For best results, share a bottle alongside a plate of sourdough slices and the cheese of your choice – the Petite Sirah will take care of the rest.
Best before
It is okay to enjoy this wine while it's young. But trust me when I say this wine will get better with a couple of years time in the bottle. It probably would be wise to pick up several bottles so you can check how it's doing from time to time.
Serving advice
Opening a bottle with just a very slight chill is one way to make this wine shine. Pull the cork, leave it alone for 20-30 minutes before pouring that first glass and reward your own good taste.
Food match
Nothing fancy is required to enjoy this wine. All you need is to gather up a few friends to share it with. That and a platter of assorted cheeses and fresh sourdough bread. I'm having visions of a fire-pit too.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
