About the wine
Feel the power of the dark side...
Stephen's Petite has heavenly flavors of bold, dark fruits with hints of creaminess – like a steaming-hot berry pie just out of the oven... ahhhh. Can't get any better.
The warm, dry vineyards of Lodi soak up so much sun that grapes are able to develop full, robust flavor – which, thanks to your support, Stephen was able to craft into this juicy red.
Your champion winemaker loves sippin’ on this red alongside savory foods like BBQ ribs or eggplant parmesan. (He picks the eggplant right from his garden! Impressive..most impressive.)
Best before
This wine will age quite nicely for the next year or so. That means you need to pick up enough bottles to try now and save some for later. I really enjoy my Angels Reserve wines at about the one year mark.
Serving advice
The overall tasting experience for this wine will benefit from letting it breathe for 20-30 minutes after opening. That doesn't mean you cannot taste it early only that it will taste even better with a little breathing.
Food match
Soon our garden will be in full production and we will be harvesting fresh eggplant. I really enjoy pairing this Petite Sirah with fresh bold flavors, especially with eggplant parmesan prepared on the grill.

Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
