Best before
This wine will age well for longer than I can wait; several years without skipping a beat. I'm currently drinking my 2016 wines and they're tasting mighty fine.
Serving advice
For the first 12-20 months or so I'd open the wine up 25-45 minutes earlier and let it breathe.
Food match
Lately we've been doing slow oven braising a big rib roast. Of course I use a little bit of F. Stephen wine to make the sauce just right. It's a totally satisfying way to entertain and enjoy great friendships at the same time.

Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
