Stephen's single-vineyard Lodi Cab is a luxuriously smooth Angel-favorite
- Stephen brings you this classic California Cabernet with a delicious dive into dark berries and cherries leading into a long, complex finish.
- Thanks to Angel funding, your 3-time Winemaker of the Year was able to personally select a single estate vineyard in Lodi with the best grapes possible for bringing out this Cabernet’s fullest colors and flavors – just for you!
- This luscious red can easily hold its own against other California Cabernets, at a value hard (impossible?) to beat. Stephen plans to sip it with a grilled bone-in rib-eye on the side – he suggests you do the same!

My Lodi Cabernets are quite nice upon release but will reward cellaring for several years if you are so inclined.
Serving advice
Like any young wine this bottle will be best served after it has a chance to breathe a little first. Or you might decant this wine immediately upon opening. Either way will work and you will get to taste the joy.
Food match
As spring has sprung I'm planning to fire up the Weber and roast a potato, grill some fresh asparagus and throw on a bone-in rib-eye. This is Liz's favorite dinner and I enjoy making it for her. Of course we'll be sharing a glass or two of my 2018 Angels Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon too.

Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
