About the wine
Big and bold Petite Sirah - not for the faint of heart!
You’re going to love this Durif - aka, top-shelf Petite Sirah. It's rich, dark and intensely fruity... and hand-crafted by your Aussie superstar!
With Angels’ help, Jen got her pick of premium Rutherglen grapes from two super-low-yield vineyards - so every grape that went into this spectacular red is fully saturated with killer flavor.
'The Diamond' is one of Jen's special Reserves - and this the first time she's brought to the States! Grab a few bottles of a rarity (only 300 cases exist!) and sit down for your first sip. It might knock you off your feet.
Best before
My Diamond Durif has the structure for long-term maturation. Age it for 15 years if you like!
Serving advice
I recommend opening and allowing to breathe or decanting 3-4 hours prior to serving.
Ideal serving temperature is 60-65F.
Food match
My Diamond Durif loves anything that is rich in protein.
Try it with a big rib-eye steak, char-grilled on the BBQ, with fat chips and a green salad. It's also fabulous with slow-cooked beef, mushroom and red wine casserole.
A must try vegetarian pairing is Durif-baked mushrooms, olives and herbs, served with brown rice and caramelized onions.
Contains sulphites
