Jen’s Durif is a dazzling blend of fruit from beautiful vineyards in South Australia’s famous Rutherglen and Heathcote subregions – including her own – chosen for their picture-perfect grapes loaded with concentrated, vibrant fruity flavors.
The long-awaited return of Jen’s Durif is finally back and yours for the taking… if you can get to it before the other 300,000 Angels.
Best before
My Diamond Durif is delicious now for those lovers of big, fruit driven, powerful reds. It will continue to drink well until 2036, when it will soften and develop some lovely leathery and earthy characters, adding complexity to its sweet fruit core.
Serving advice
I recommend opening and decanting (if possible) for three hours prior to serving in its youth, and for 1-2 hours as it matures in the bottle. Serve cooler than room temperature.
Food match
My Diamond Durif loves to be paired with red meat. From a juicy steak straight off the BBQ to pulled pork, it's the wine to make your meal sing. It's also excellent with chicken mole and roasted sweet potato chili with tortillas.
