This rich old vine red is the gem of Tuchan
Katie’s estate-grown Syrah is intense and complex - a bold rush of dark fruit and wafts of a French garden, like rosemary, lavender and thyme.
“This region captures a forgotten era of France,” Katie says. Your funding helped a beloved Languedoc winemaker craft a Syrah that "reflects the beauty and wildness of this area" – and let its individual character shine!
The quality is top-tier – Katie harvests each cluster from her organically-farmed vines by hand. Given the age of the vineyard, the berries she pulls are slim, so just a tiny volume exists. Don't miss this "wow" moment!

Meet the winemaker - Katie Jones
- Katie's obsession with wine led her all the way from Leicestershire to the Languedoc in the south of France. After selling wine for other people for years, she decided to pack it all in and follow her dreams, buying an idyllic vineyard perched on a hillside.
- Katie turned to Angels after vandals poured her entire year's vintage down the drain. Thanks to Angel funding, you got her back on her feet, producing more sensational wine in no time. Katie is keen to say thank you with a big Angel savings.
- Katie's wines are seriously juicy and robust, with sparkly awards a plenty... most recently she won a GOLD medal and the Fitou trophy at the International Wine Challenge and 90+ points from the Wine Advocate to boot.
