Angels save money compared to Market Price...
Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.
It’s based on the price of wines sold at other companies, that have received the same customer ratings or awards from third parties.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Angel Price, we’ll add a credit to your account.

About the wine
Single-vineyard stunner from a Willamette Valley legend
-
This is elegant and silky Oregon Pinot Noir at its finest, with a bounty of red and blue fruit flavors that leap from the glass.
-
Ken harvested this Pinot from Vanjohn Vineyard, an eastern-facing hillside vineyard that gets a smidge of morning light – just enough for the grapes to ripen slowly to perfection. It’s some of the top Pinot in the Eola-Amity Hills – and Ken couldn’t make it without your support.
-
“Truly great wine happens with world-class sites and the hand of the winemaker unseen,” says Ken. This is your chance to taste greatness from the winemaker that put Oregon Pinot on the map.
Best before
If you prefer a fresh fruit profile, this should be enjoyed between release up to 5 years. If you prefer the complexities and nuance that develop with age, then 6-12 years is recommended.
Serving advice
Young wines benefit from aeration. Opening 15-30 minutes before service will improve both aromatics and flavor.
Food match
This wine pairs beautifully with salmon, especially Chinook.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Ken Wright
Ken’s name is synonymous with Willamette Valley. As one of its pioneers, he was pivotal in the region’s growth and evolution. He helped put Oregon Pinot Noir on the map. Literally.
Ken launched his career in California, but Oregon won his heart before the rest of the world knew of its greatness. Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate designated his – and only his – Oregon winery as ‘Outstanding.’ He is the only Oregon winemaker to grace the cover of Wine Spectator. And now, a true legend of Oregon wine is moving to a new digital era – with you.
With Angel support, Ken can educate and communicate directly with you, delivering the pleasure of world-class Willamette Valley Pinot Noir to your doorstep.
