Ode by Daniel Baron Bennett Valley Sonoma County Pinot Noir 2022
About the wine
This primo Pinot is poetry in motion
-
Daniel’s luxurious Pinot is intensely flavored with juicy raspberry and dark berry flavors that glide into sumptuous layers of warming oak spice from fine French oak aging.
-
Your support took Daniel to a single vineyard tucked away in the heart of Sonoma’s cool-climate Bennett Valley to harvest primo Pinot. After a year in barrel, Daniel let the wine rest another year in the bottle to ensure it is ready for primetime.
-
This is Naked’s only Pinot from the revered Bennett Valley – one of the premier subregions for Pinot – so you don’t want to miss this smashing debut that Daniel describes as “a princess of a wine that will be a tasting treasure.”
Best before
Given proper cellar conditions, this 2022 Bennett Valley Pinot Noir will improve with 5 to 10 years of age
Serving advice
This wine will benefit from some aeration in its youth and will develop beautifully in the glass.
Food match
I would pair this wine with a marinated loin of pork that is grilled on the barbecue with some russet potatoes and zucchini.
Contains sulphites
