About the wine
Delicate, refined Italian sparkling
- Vibrant and fresh, with a scintillating layer of bright bubbles, this refined Prosecco is light and luxurious Italian sparkling at its most refreshing.
- Paolo comes from a family of winemakers, so his Prosecco roots run deep, and with your support he was able to craft this dream sparkling using high-end fruit from Valdobbiadene – home to Italy’s most sought-after grapes for sparkling wines.
- When served chilled, this crisp, lively Prosecco is perfect on its own – and if you’re feeling especially creative and adventurous, try mixing it with Aperol as a spritz!
Best before
This sparkling is ready to be enjoyed pronto, but will also age well for the next year or two.
Serving advice
Serve it well-chilled and use caution while opening.
Food match
Paolo says this bubbly makes the perfect aperitif and also pairs beautifully with all kinds of courses, from fish and vegetable-based finger food, to shellfish and baked, stuffed trout.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Paolo Sacchetto
- Paolo Sacchetto is the third generation of his family to make Italian white wine, and it's what he was meant to do ever since he popped out into the world.
When you hear the phrase 'family business,' this time it's not just marketing clap trap. His 78-year-old father still turns up to work every day, and there are cousins and siblings working in virtually every nook and cranny of the winery his grandfather founded.
While Paolo specializes in Prosecco, he's got a few pet projects in the back of the house and thanks to Angel funding we've been able to bring those small production dreams to life.
