Angels save money compared to Market Price...
Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.
It’s based on the price of wines sold at other companies, that have received the same customer ratings or awards from third parties.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Angel Price, we’ll add a credit to your account.

About the wine
Old World style meets California finesse in the hands of your flavormaster
- This vibrant red chock full of bright cherry flavor and just a smidge of toasty oak spice shows off Scott’s ability to ease off the throttle to create this one-of-a-kind blend.
- With your vote and support, Scott used an ancient winemaking practice from Italy’s Veneto region called Ripasso – he fermented Mendocino Old Vine Carignan and Sonoma Syrah, "repassed" the wine over the Syrah skins, then blended in Sonoma Zinfandel to enhance the ripe fruit flavors.
- A Ripasso outside of Italy is rare, but Scott’s is spot on – a perfect match for Italian-inspired dishes like risotto, creamy polenta and veal parmesan. Don’t let this (re)pass you by – Scott only made around 1800 cases for 300,000 Angels – so get it while you can.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Scott Peterson
Scott spent over 20 years making wine for storied Sonoma wineries like Kendall-Jackson and Buena Vista – as well as Argentina’s Nicolás Catena Family of Wines and Chile’s Axel and La Playa Wines – before Angel support allowed him to march to his own drum.
Scott loves working with Angel funding because you allow him to make the wines he wants to. He's old school, and he doesn't want to make new styles just because they’re trendy.
If you like gloriously decadent, no-holds-barred wines, buy everything Scott makes. You will not regret it.
