Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.

About the wine
Plunk this Napa Cab on the table, and all will applaud
- Rudy took Napa Cabernet and turned it up to 11. This is a dark dive into classic flavors like rich black cherry, enhanced by generous French barrel aging. This wine won him Winery of the Year 13 times - for *very* good reason.
There are Napa Cabernets – and then there are Diamond Mountain District Cabs! "DMD" is one of Napa’s smallest, most exclusive patches of vineyards, and Rudy founded it.
His last vintage earned a 93 from Wine Enthusiast - will it be the first to earn a perfect 100 score with Angels? Taste - and tell.
Best before
I am a huge fan of aging this Cab. Make sure you cellar it "steady" - in the 55 to 60F range.
Serving advice
I'm not a huge decanting fan, but letting this wine breathe helps! If you're not going to age it and want to drink it young, just make sure to open 1 to 2 hours before serving.
Food match
Classics pair with classics - I love Italian meat ragus with this, over fresh linguini or pappardelle.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Rudy von Strasser
Rudy von Strasser is a Napa legend — he played a huge part in founding the Diamond Mountain District, famous for its Cabernet. By rallying everyone in the region, he put the AVA (American Viticultural Area) on the map in 1999!
Rudy met Naked through Alex Farber — he was looking to expand his portfolio with some beautiful Petite Sirah, but didn’t have enough room in his winery.
Angel funding helped make that Petite Sirah possible. When he brought us his other wines, we knew we’d hit the jackpot! Rudy’s now able to share his wide range of Diamond Mountain District wines with Angels across the country.
