CLOSURE - Cork BOUQUET - Red Raspberries, Strawberries and Peach NOSE - Raspberry Sorbet, Gardenias and Hyacinth PALATE - Juicy and Dry - Lychees, Strawberries with Lime FINISH - The Citrus lingers on PAIRINGS - Fruit and Cheese Platter, Many desserts.. Baked Cheesecake springs to mind, or English Trifle.. NOW my sweet tooth is kicking in.. try it with ANYthing containing White Chocolate (Hubby just died of Apoplexy.. he does not consider white chocolate to BE chocolate but me? I am THE white choccy freak!) Also, consider this with steamed sole, hake, cod or flounder, accompanied with a light Beurre Blanc sauce. BASICS - ABV 12.0% with a Cork closure BOUQUET - Strawberries and Red Raspberries, with just a little Yeast NOSE - Apricots, and the aforementioned Berries PALATE - Although a delicious Dry Rosé, this has ample sweet fruit aromas to satisfy someone with a penchant for sweet wines, but who may desire a MUCH higher quality sparkling wine than typical store-bought sweet bubblies. Delicious Tart-Sweet Cherries on the palate. FINISH - Citrus-tart and dry finish. PAIRINGS - Where do I start? Cheese and Fruit Platter with Olives and Nuts? Seafood? Sparkling rosé pairs well with the delicate flavors of seafood. Think oysters, shrimp cocktail, or grilled fish. Consider a Nicoise salad, a grilled chicken salad, or a salad with a citrusy vinaigrette. Charcuterie?
