Market Price
Angels save money compared to Market Price...
Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.
It’s based on the price of wines sold at other companies, that have received the same customer ratings or awards from third parties.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Angel Price, we’ll add a credit to your account.

About the wine
Limited-release single-vineyard Tempranillo
- With deeply concentrated flavors like juicy blueberry, ripe black cherry, mocha and vanilla, you’ll be hard-pressed to leave this decadent Tempranillo in the cellar for a decade like Ana recommends.
- Angel funding gave Ana access to Covey Hill Vineyard in Sonoma Valley, where cooler temperatures, gravelly soils and a steep hillside grow Tempranillo full of verve and intensity, made even better with 18 months of French oak aging.
- With fewer than 100 cases produced, this is a unique, one-of-a-kind wine from Ana that will sell out quickly. Buy a few bottles to taste now and enjoy in the future.
Best before
This wine presents a prominent tannin profile, is rich in color, and has great acidity; it will age in your cellar over a long period of time, a good 8 to 10 years! It will be hard to wait, but the Angels will be well rewarded for their patience.
However, if youÂ’re eager to try it now, please decant it for 1 to 2 hours.
Serving advice
Due to the fact that this wine presents a bold tannin profile, it will truly benefit from breathing time, as it will be "closed up" if you choose to open it without bottle aging. Therefore, please be sure to decant it for 1 to 2 hours so that the tannins will soften and the fruit gets to express itself fully.
Pour yourself a glass while you wait and see the wine open and shift. Perfect exercise while cooking dinner.
Food match
This is a full-bodied wine that will pair great with hefty dishes.
This wineÂ’s secondary aromas and earthiness will make it a great pairing for a mixed cheese board (think Manchego, Parmesan, or Cheddar) or an exquisite charcuterie plate. Don't forget the crunchy baguette!
A rosemary-rubbed leg of lamb or a well-marbled barbequed steak (my choice falls on a juicy New York cut) is also a great match for this wine.
For a vegetarian choice, IÂ’d recommend a rustic ratatouille or vegetarian paella.
