About the wine
Single-vineyard powerhouse Cabernet from the tip-top of Mendocino

From the first sip to the last, each taste is a ripe, juicy explosion of intense, tangy dark fruit flavors like warm, brooding cherry pie with lush plums on the side and just a touch of mocha.

With your help, Ana harvested Cabernet from a single vineyard in one of the highest-elevation grape growing regions in all of California, where the grapes are smaller and packed with twice as much flavor as those in the valleys. Just wait til you taste the difference!

As if using some of the most pristine grapes in all of Mendocino wasn’t enough, your funding let Ana age this gloriously rich red in fancy French Oak and crank this mighty mountain Cab all the way up to 11!

This will age beautifully for up to 15 years.
Serving advice
Open at least 1 hour before enjoying it. It is fascinating to taste how beautiful the dark fruit becomes.

Claramente, está algo joven por lo que requiere de una buena oxigenación (2 horas). De color violáceo, este Cabernet muestra fruta negra en abundancia. Con taninos musculosos y una buena acidez, encontramos recuerdos de regaliz, mermelada de zarzamoras, café, pimienta blanca, tabaco, chocolate negro, casis galletas de miel (graham crackers). Reservar hasta el 27… si puedes.

A deep ruby in the glass with aromas of black currant, cranberry, black plum, graphite and cedar. Black fruits transition to a dusty and VERY long finish. I opened the botyle the night before, which I do for big wines, and the tannins were still grippy - this is a young wine, afterall. Velvety and delicious with an aged gouda. This is definitely baj ageable wine. My second bottle wiyh rest for another 6-10 years.

The high ABV skews the flavor too much and makes this wine hard to drink. It doesnt pair well with anything…
Rich, big and fragrant. Interesting finish with a "tropical" oak note. Dark fruit and chocolate. Tannins sing, and the finish is long. Baller cab!

This is a special occasion wine for me (in this case - a 2-inch thick prime filet, steak fries, and a dvd of Warner night at the movies featuring "Casablanca.") Dark, brooding fruit, good balance. Ana, what movie might you pair this with?
