About the wine
Clean, crisp and crystal clear
- Albarino is Spain's answer to Sauvignon Blanc. Clean, crisp, crystal clear flavours, with enough raciness to make it the perfect partner with even the strongest of food combinations - in other words, an all-round winner to have in the fridge.
- This version is like drinking a glass of pure Granny Smith apples, with a big fat dollop of cream added for good luck. Kerr...zing!
- Chicken and chorizo stew, a bottle of this, and Desperate Housewives on TV, and you're set for the night.
Best before
2-3 years after vintage, even more for really old white wines lovers.
Serving advice
Best served around 8-10ºC and after half hour breathing time in the bottle
Food match
In the region is really famous the quality of seafood and fish so these are the typical local pairings.
It pairs really well with Salmon (smoked or fresh), creammy cheeses (Brie, Camembert,...) and also great with Asian food (green curry, medium-spiced dishes, sushi,...)
