About the wine
This will be your favorite house white
If you like drinks served with a fresh lemon twist, Pinot Gris is for you. Crisp and juicy with zip and zing, this elegant, award-winning white will always dazzle and delight.
With your funding, Chris was able to hand-pick the vineyards he liked and make you a spectacular Pinot Gris that really shows off the cool-climate, slow-ripening region of Willamette Valley.
Chris says your Pinot Gris makes the perfect dinner companion. If you open it while you are cooking, have a second bottle in the fridge because it may not make it to dinner otherwise!
Best before
It is ready to drink now, so enjoy. My rule of thumb is about 4 to 6 years for a white, but this one is so good it will not last a couple months without ordering more.
Serving advice
Chill, open and enjoy. If you usually chill your whites really cold, I recommend allowing a glass or 2 to warm a bit before trying it. This allows the wine to open up and all the aromas to shine.
Food match
Dungeness crab or local pan fried razor clams would be at the top of the list, but this wine will go with almost anything. Roasted beet salad or spicy Thai food are on the daily menu as well.
