About the wine
Remarkably fresh Grenache blend grown in a unique granite soil 2800 feet above sea level.
- This is a deep, dark blend of Grenache and Syrah with the roundness and complexity you can expect from such a unique vineyard located 2800 feet above sea level in old granite soils that have run off for millenia from the Sierra Nevada mountains.
- It's lush and ripe and has a lot of oomph, but Jeff finds that the altitude and soil type actually give the wine a surprising freshness and a yummy red fruit focus – he often suggests serving this a bit cooler than most reds to showcase the wine's freshness.
- A perfect summer barbecue wine that has the body and depth to pair with BBQed meats but still has the freshness and focus to be fun to drink in the baking hot sun.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Jarvis Tomei Family
Years Angel-funded: 2012-18
- Jeff and Jessica worked around the world at top wineries in Italy, Chile and all over before settling down in California to craft boutique wines and make a family.
- Being a small boutique winemaker means a lot of time in the cellar and even more time selling the wine on the road. Angel-funding gave Jeff and Jessica to make and sell great wine without sacrificing the time to make memories with their kids while they were tots.
- And through a special rescue wine, Angels gave this family the funds they needed to stay afloat to cover their daughter's medical bills. 'Helping Hand' is the wine they made to thank you for your generosity!
