About the wine
The best of Washington Cabernets all in one bottle
This jammy Cabernet is a Pacific Northwest powerhouse full of dark fruits and an oh-so-smooth finish thanks to generous oak barrel aging.
Thanks to Angel funding, Dave harvested his choice of Cabernet from a pair of vineyards in Washington’s Columbia and Walla Walla valleys, bringing you the very best of the Evergreen State in one stunning Cabernet.
This Cabernet is one of Angels’ favorite Northwest wines, with a lifetime 90+ rating – and Dave has you to thank for it! Reward yourself with a bottle (or several) of this prized Washington red – you’ve earned it.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Dave Harvey
You freed a powerhouse Washington winemaker – Dave Harvey is quite the catch.
With your backing, he's combing the state – from the Columbia Valley river basin to southern Walla Walla – to make Northwest classics (and seriously shocking red blends, too... like his signature GSMmm Syrah!)
He's already clinched a Decanter award for the “Best Rhône varietal wine in the world.” Mark our words - now that Dave has Angel funding, that’s just a drop in the bucket.

A nice Washington Cab. Lots of cherry and some blackberry as well. Light/medium body. Interesting that the notes say this was aged in oak, as I didn't get much of that all. And that's a good thing - this won't overpower you as, say, California Cabs would often do.
Overall, I wish this one was just a tad bit more complex, but still quite a good, easy drinking wine that I wouldn't mind drinking again. And as always, best after letting this breathe 30-45 min.

Yuck as well. Clearly this is not a Vinter for me. Love cabs and hated this.

No surprise, it was lovely as all of Dave Harvey’s wines are.

Wonderful smooth with notes of deep cherry and pepper. And a little flavor of burnt toast or something at the end but it's absolutely wonderful. But it's dave harvey so I shouldn't be surprised.
