About the wine
What rhymes with Montepulciano? Tuesday night.
The Abruzzo region of Italy made this bold red famous. David’s going to make it the big topic of your weeknight. Why?
He made it in Lodi. Dare we say, when this red is made in the sunniest core of the world - California - it hits different. Gobs of black cherries and ripe plums whoosh in faster than the first gush of AC on a summer day.
Sometimes, the traditional version is best. But this California edition… it has us second-guessing. And reaching for a second glass.

Serving advice
Be kind and decant
Food match
Feeling adventurous? Duck ragu with pappardelle - it's what the Venetians would do! Going veggie: Sauteed mushrooms also over pappardelle.
Contains sulphites
