About the wine
This crisp, luscious white delight is equal parts sweet and refreshing
- Stephen’s irresistibly fresh and fruity Symphony is music to sweet wine lovers’ ears. It’s dripping in juicy, refreshing floral flavors and practically singing with a lush, lip-smacking sweetness.
- Stephen made this wine using special Symphony grapes, a relatively new white varietal sourced from his own Lodi vineyards, where the growing conditions are ideal for bringing out this grape’s vibrant flavors and aromas.
- Start by serving this sweet sipper niceand chilled to get a full range of crisp tropical flavors, then let it warm a bit in the glass to develop tastes of sweet-smelling citrus. Yum!
Best before
This variety is all about freshness but interestingly I have tasted more than a few bottles with a couple of years on them and they had developed a very nice complexity. But I still recommend drinking them up within a couple of years of harvest for this wine to be at its best.
Serving advice
Serve well-chilled to enhance its natural fruit aromas and preserve those sparkly flavors.
Food match
Ginger brined and grilled prawns always get my attention. This will be released just in time for summertime grilling too.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
