Best before
It is okay to enjoy this wine while young. I should know because I enjoy it now and it hasn't been bottled yet. But trust me when I say this wine will get even better with a couple of years time in the bottle. You probably should pick up a few extra bottles for just such an occasion when you want something with a little extra oomph.
Serving advice
Opening a bottle with a very slight chill will make this wine shine. Leave it alone for 20-30 minutes before serving that first glass and reward your own good taste.
Food match
I enjoy Petite Sirah served with a mixed plate of firm cheese and sourdough bread. That and a few friends to discuss its virtues with and contemplate the season.

Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
