Dreamy, lush Zinfandel flush with mouth-filling fruity decadence
- Stephen’s sultry, brooding Lodi Zin is packed with refined dark berry flavors and traces of light, soft spice. A lavishly long, lingering finish is the cherry on top.
- Sourced with the help of Angel support, your Zin grew on "head trained" vines that help the fruit ripen with just the right amount of complexity for a wine perfectly layered with fruity finesse.
- After a few months of oak aging for a little extra oomph of elegance, Stephen’s Zin is finally ready for you to enjoy. For a Zin this decadent, Stephen says, “Angels pricing cannot be beat. I'd call that a winner!”
Best before
Last night we opened a 2015 vintage of my Angel Reserve Zinfandel and it was tasting really fine. It certainly has stood the test of time.
Serving advice
When you first open a bottle of this Zin please give it a few moments to awaken and stretch out. That little bit of space will make every glass afterwards taste that much better.
Food match
I've been spoiled by this wine. When I open one of my Zins I always think of grilling fresh lamb and eggplant when in season. I like to pluck it fresh from our garden, pop it on the grill with some onions and peppers. Yum! You probably should invite a few friends over and make a night of it. Enjoy!

Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
