About the wine
Robust, Angel-favorite Reserve Zinfandel
- Stephen’s juicy Reserve-level Zinfandel is jam-packed with bold dark fruits and a soft trace of spice from oak aging, woven together for a luxurious, balanced finish.
- Your funding helped Stephen harvest Zinfandel from a handful of vineyards throughout his home turf of Calaveras County, coupling robust fruit from head-trained old vines with punchier Zin from sites with younger vines.

Best before
This bottling should age quite nicely for the next 5-10 years. I haven't actually been able to hold any of them this long unless I have accidentally misplaced the bottle in my cellar. I'm always rewarded for my good fortune and planning.
Serving advice
I would probably try to open this bottle 35-45 minutes ahead of time. I talk brave but usually I pour a glass immediately after opening.
Food match
My favorite Zin food pairing is braised lamb shanks with mixed root vegetables and small roasted potatoes. Delish.

Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
