About the wine
Robust, Angel-favorite Zinfandel
- Stephen’s juicy, refined Zinfandel is jam-packed full of bold dark fruit flavors, with a soft trace of spice from a bit of oak aging, all woven together for a luxurious, mouth-filling finish.
- Your funding helped Stephen harvest luscious Zinfandel from several vineyards sprinkled throughout his home turf of Calaveras County, coupling robust fruit from head-trained old vines with punchier Zin from sites with younger vines.

This bottling is delicious now, but should also age quite nicely for the next 5-10 years.
Serving advice
I would probably try to open the bottle 30-45 minutes ahead of time, pour a little in a glass, swirl it a couple of times and take in the bouquet before taking a sip.
Food match
My favorite Zin food is braised lamb shanks with mixed root vegetables and small roasted potatoes.

Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
