This old-vine Zinfandel is delicious now and will age quite nicely for the next few years.
Serving advice
While young, this Zinfandel will benefit quite nicely from getting a little air before serving with dinner. I'd give it about 30 minutes to air out and breathe after opening it.
Food match
I used to only want grilled lamb with my Zinfandel but lately I've developed a hankering for slow smoked pork belly with all the BBQ sides. Any way you have it sounds like a perfect way to enjoy summertime with a few friends.

Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
