There is no need to be in a hurry opening it up. Unless you're in a hurry to experience its depth of flavor. I suggest gathering up some like minded friends and planning a feast.
Serving advice
I suggest letting it breathe for about 45 minutes or more so your first sip revels in its depth and richness. Oh yeah, you can drink it too.
Food match
This is a big boy wine so I say "go big or go home" when planning your dinner around it. Lately I've developed a fondness for the 3 finger thick steak slathered with herb butter sauce or pesto. It seems like a lot of work but trust me, it's worth it.

Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
