yum, just the creaminess I look for in a whiskey barrel chardonnay.

Vanilla and spice meets pineapple. A bit boozy in the nose which is exciting for the aging prospect. Round with a spicy hot edge that melds nicely on the palate. A slight chew in the finish.
Medium-full bodied, and I would label this a rich white rather than a crisp white. Tons of body, plays nice with a fat hunk of salmon with fried zucchini for dinner. I would buy more, so if this was a test run, I say pull the trigger! It would be fun to pick up a six pack and watch it evolve over a few years.

We love this wine and so has everyone we've shared it with. I'm wishing I bought more than I did. When will we get another batch!? It pairs well with so many different foods bringing out such great flavors. My favorite Chardonnay by far.

I am not necessarily a Chardonnay fan, but this was quite good. There was a subtle hint of the whiskey and oak that just enhanced the flavor.

Franc! I don’t know if you remember me asking you about a whiskey barrel chardonnay several years ago after I first tried your whiskey barrel cab, but I am THRILLED to see you finally made it! I got myself a 6-pack when the preorders popped and just opened the first one. The wait was worth it! It’s crisp and light but finishes with that signature oaky barrel complexity long after it’s off your tongue. Hope you love it as much as I do and I also hope you plan to keep making it. Cheers!
