About the wine
All the charm of Southern France in a glass
- Say bonjour to France’s Corbières region (rhymes with Pierre!) with a red that abounds with rustic flavors like juicy brambly berries, rosemary and thyme.
- Your funding helped Katie harvest premier Carignan, Grenache and Syrah from Languedoc’s largest region to craft a wine that showcases the fruity, herbal and spicy flavors native to the countryside.
- “This wine will transport you to the rugged hills of the Corbières,” says Katie. At your Angel price, this is your unbelievably affordable taste trip to Southern France – grab a few bottles and your beret!

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Katie Jones
- Katie's obsession with wine led her all the way from Leicestershire to the Languedoc in the south of France. After selling wine for other people for years, she decided to pack it all in and follow her dreams, buying an idyllic vineyard perched on a hillside.
- Katie turned to Angels after vandals poured her entire year's vintage down the drain. Thanks to Angel funding, you got her back on her feet, producing more sensational wine in no time. Katie is keen to say thank you with a big Angel savings.
- Katie's wines are seriously juicy and robust, with sparkly awards a plenty... most recently she won a GOLD medal and the Fitou trophy at the International Wine Challenge and 90+ points from the Wine Advocate to boot.

Don't keep bottle open for multiple days. It didn't hold up.But it was good to begin with!
Delicious blend. I dont onoe alot about French wines but will definitely get this again
This was a fruity wine with grapes I'm not familiar with. Liked the balance. Definitely will hold up to meats/spaghetti.
Delightful surprise - a flavorable red blend that stands up to BBQ, beef roast, highly spiced mutton, and other dishes that require a strong, bold wine.

I was not a fan of this one. It was just very flat for me. Unremarkable finish, almost non existent.

Lovely wine but not yet at peak. I imagine this will age well and be much better in 3 to 5 years. Hard to find wines worthy of aging at this price.

Good fruit-forward wine, excellent with red sauce pasta or pork and chicken. Good with blue cheese, aged gouda, or other stronger cheeses.

A lovely, balanced wine with fresh berry flavors. A little spice. We loved it with Thanksgiving leftovers.

Delicious with a citrus-teriyaki flank steak, mashed potatoes finished with sour cream and Greek yogurt, and steamed asparagus with herb butter
