About the wine
Crowd-pleazin' collaboration between 2 top winemakers
- Intense without being forceful, this is Zin at its fanciest – you get all the strong flavors with a sort of freshness that makes the wine incredibly drinkable.
- Ken & Derek's latest Zin collaboration comes from three unique Dry Creek and Sonoma County vineyards. It's got a touch more structure but also more plum fruit than last year's vintage.
- Quintessential BBQ wine, especially if you've got a lot of herbs and spices on your grilled meats.
Best before
This wine is drinkable now but could be aged for 3-5 years or more.
Serving advice

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Ken Deis & Derek Rohlffs
- This is a perfect example of the interaction and camaraderie at your customer-funded winery in Sonoma. These winemakers were working on two separate zins until they tasted each other's wines and couldn't resist a little blending session.
- Ken Deis and Derek Rohlffs make excellent wines independently and when their powers combine, they are an unstoppable force of nature.
- This is the first time we've had a winemaker collaboration on this scale so let us know how you like it -- should we encourage your winemakers to play together more often?
