About the wine
This is as prestigious as Oregon Pinot gets
All the famous flavors of Oregon Pinot are here - raspberry and black cherry – and a dash of spice. This is seamless and silky from start to finish.
Ken harvested fruit from a single vineyard in the exclusive Yamhill-Carlton region of Willamette Valley. This tiny corner grows some of the most prized Pinot in the Pacific Northwest — and you deserve a taste.
Pinots from this treasured sub-region usually go for the big bucks, but as an Angel, you’re getting a price tag no one else sees!
Best before
If you prefer a fresh fruit profile the wine should be consumed between release and up to 5 years. If you prefer the complexities and nuance that develop with age, then 6-12 years is recommended.
Serving advice
Young wines benefit from aeration. Older wines are more fragile and should NOT be decanted.
Food match
Duck confit
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Ken Wright
Ken’s name is synonymous with Willamette Valley. As one of its pioneers, he was pivotal in the region’s growth and evolution. He helped put Oregon Pinot Noir on the map. Literally.
Ken launched his career in California, but Oregon won his heart before the rest of the world knew of its greatness. Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate designated his – and only his – Oregon winery as ‘Outstanding.’ He is the only Oregon winemaker to grace the cover of Wine Spectator. And now, a true legend of Oregon wine is moving to a new digital era – with you.
With Angel support, Ken can educate and communicate directly with you, delivering the pleasure of world-class Willamette Valley Pinot Noir to your doorstep.
