Absolutely approachable right now, however 3-5 years of careful cellaring will allow this Shiraz to develop further suppleness and complexity
Serving advice
Best enjoyed in the 60-65F (16-18C) range - no need to get too fussy but some aeration certainly opens up this youthful Shiraz for greater expression of the fruit.

Eye Fillet of beef cooked medium/rare on the grill, served with Mediterranean vegetables and a leafy green salad with crusty bread - simple, pure flavours, quality ingredients, Sunday afternoon on the deck with good company and Lodestar Shiraz - perfect!!

Meet the winemaker - Geoff Thompson
- As a 20-something soaring above Australia's wineries in a hot air balloon, Geoff made a decision: He'd eventually land in a vineyard... and never leave.
- He knows South Australia better than anyone – he's been working as a winemaker there now for over 14 years! He loves highlighting its diverse varietals and regions with single, premium vineyard wines.
- It's no secret that Shiraz is Geoff's favorite, but he's a lover of all wine varieties. The key for him is creating wines for everyday enjoyment - with the price point to match.
