About the wine
A world-class Cabernet from the Sierra Nevada foothills
- Matt helped put Napa Valley Cabernet on the map, working for iconic brands like Beringer and Stags’ Leap. Now he’s ready to make a new legend in the foothills below the Sierra Nevada mountains.
- This is intense, complex Cabernet, with bold fruit flavor, big shoulders and a lusciously toasty finish thanks to months in expensive French oak.
- With your funding, Matt’s Reserve is harvested from the very best blocks of vineyard in El Dorado County, up in the gold-crusted soils of Pilot Hill - and it’s the wine set to define a region.
Best before
Ideal drinking will be between 2 and 5 years from release but the wine will cellar well for longer.
