About the wine
A Napa crowdpleaser without the flashy price tag
- Matt sourced the majority of the grapes for this Cabernet from VIP Rutherford –where the Cabernet commands a top-tier price tag.
- With all the classic Napa flavors like ripe dark berries, plum and a bit of toasty mocha at the finish, this rich and smooth red is ready to shine.
- Lucky for you, Matt made this Cabernet that tastes like it belongs behind a velvet rope for an Angel-friendly price. Get a bottle to enjoy now and a few to age...if you can be patient.
Best before
The wine was made to enjoy young as most Angels drink as soon as they purchase. My advise would be to give the wine at least a year in the cellar, but ideally 2 or 4 years to be at it's best. The wine will age up to 5 to 7 years.
Serving advice
The wine will benefit from decanting to let it open up and mellow prior to drinking - about an hour. Serving at cellar temperature also make a big difference - ~58F.
