Meet the winemaker - Mike Paterson
- Mike used to be the Head Winemaker at one of New Zealand's finest, most prestigious Sauvignon Blanc wineries.
- He loved the job, but he also loved the idea of fulfilling his life-long dream of going it alone. Only problem was, the financial equation was "beyond scary" (as Mike put it!).
- That's where we (and our 100,000 Angels) stepped in. We've funded Mike to go it alone on one tiny, simple, lovely condition: he makes you some absolute stunners in the wine department. And from what we've tasted so far he's been true to his word...

What a wonderful wine! Congratulations Mike, from the bouquet to the finish, just perfect.
One of those wines that actually lives up to the hype. A quintessential Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc - citrus and tropical flavors predominate. A pleasure to drink on its own or with light fare. Well done Mike!!
Too citrusy. Lemon-y. Sharp. No depth. Kept waiting for something besides top notes. Can't imagine what this pairs with. Maybe girl scout cookies?

I like Malborough sauv blancs, and this was OK, just not my most favorite. It was dry and acidic (which I like), but not as grassy and complex as I would have preferred.

Great with BBQ or Teriyaki Chicken. Definitely pair with food. A bit "green" for my taste otherwise.

Lots of citrus flavor. Seemed like grapefruit to me. Worked well with shrimp scampi.
