About the wine
This Pinot is poetry in motion
Daniel’s luxurious Pinot is intensely flavored with juicy raspberry and dark berry flavors that glide into sumptuous layers of warming oak spice from fine French oak aging.
Your support took Daniel to a single vineyard tucked away in the heart of Sonoma’s cool-climate Bennett Valley to harvest primo Pinot. After a year in barrel, Daniel let the wine rest another year in the bottle to ensure it is ready for primetime.
This is Naked’s only Pinot from the revered Bennett Valley – one of the premier subregions for Pinot – so you don’t want to miss this smashing debut that Daniel describes as “a princess of a wine that will be a tasting treasure.”
Best before
This is ready to drink on release but will soften and become more complex for up to 10 years.
Serving advice
Let this wine breathe in the glass - it will change and evolve over the course of a meal because it is quite vibrant.
Food match
I love beer can chicken or duck rillette with this wine. My musical pairing would be Lake Street Dive or Glenn Gould's first Goldberg Variation recording.
Contains sulphites
