Market Price
Angels save money compared to Market Price...
Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.
It’s based on the price of wines sold at other companies, that have received the same customer ratings or awards from third parties.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Angel Price, we’ll add a credit to your account.

About the wine
Reserve Cabernet from a wine legend
- Daniel created this Cab as an Ode to "Harold" - UC Davis professor and renowned viticulturist Dr. Harold Olmo. This Cab was harvested from an iconic vineyard in Napa's famed Oakville Bench that Harold showed him in 1976.
- Full of ripe black cherry and blackberry flavors with a rich velvety finish, this Reserve is ready for a special occasion.
- Daniel's resume is packed with top-tier wineries and legendary vintages – this Cabernet is another in a long line of crowd favorites.
Best before
This wine is delicious right now, but it will improve for up to 25 years given proper cellaring
Serving advice
I would recommend decanting this wine for the first 6-9 months after release
Food match
I would serve the 2022 Ode to Harold Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon with a dry aged New York steak grilled rare or grilled sturgeon. I would serve it with scalloped potatoes and steamed fresh broccoli with olive oil. Yum!

Meet the winemaker - Daniel Baron
- Daniel Baron is a wine world icon, full of more anecdotes than wine vintages — of which, he’s contributed to 50 — including an iconic year at Petrus and pioneering roles at Dominus Estate, Silver Oak & Twomey.
- Working for Angels, “I can gather many threads from the warp and woof of my life fabric — and pay homage to the many mentors who have informed my passion for winemaking over these decades,” Daniel says.
- Look for specialty Napa and Sonoma reds from Daniel - made with a true expert's touch. “It is a dream come true for me to bring 50 years of winemaking into one bottle, and offer it to you."
