About the wine
Richly textured Cabernet blend grown 1200 feet above level
- Incredibly rich, textured Cabernet blend grown 1,200 feet above sea level on a single vineyard in the foothills below the Sierra Nevada mountains.
- 2013 was a stellar vintage in El Dorado, where Scott says each passing day adds power and ripeness to the grapes. "And when it's time to pick," he adds "you pull in all your horses and get to work"!
- Full, generous fruit flavors with a hint of toast and vanilla from 13 months barrel aging with 40% new French oak – a dark, concentrated wine (63% Cab, 37% Merlot). The quintessential wine to pair with a tender slice of beef, the thicker the better.

Drink March 2015 through 2019

Deep red wine. Serve at Cellar temp, 60-65*F
