About the wine
Sharon's magnificent, mouth-filling Malbec is the cat's meow
- This mighty Cattoo Malbec purrs with luxurious layers of decadent dark fruit flavors like black cherry and ripe, juicy plum, backed by a soft touch of barrel spice and a silky, melt-in-your-mouth smoothness.
- Paso Robles is Sharon's home turf, so she got her pick of its richest, ripest fruit. After selecting grapes from several small lots, she barrel-aged your Malbec for 9 months in French oak, just to give it a bit of added decadence!
- Angels like you made this mouthwatering red come to life - and we're SO glad you did. But a Malbec like this won't be around for long... stock up while you can!

This Malbec will age well through 2026.
Serving advice
Please do not open this wine on the day you receive it. This is a young wine and Sharon recommends decanting it for 60 minutes prior to drinking to allow the flavors and aromatics to fully develop. This also helps soften the tannins and will give the wine a smoother taste. Sharon recommends letting all of her wines rest for a minimum of 2 weeks after receiving them to allow them to recover from the shipping.
Food match
For a purr-fect pairing, Sharon suggests "anything spicy and grill-fired or funky." Spicy sausage, lamb, pork, buffalo burgers, pastas and blue cheese are all excellent choices.

Meet the winemaker - Sharon Weeks
- It started as a few odd jobs in the cellar, and turned into a winemaking gig. Over 30 years later, Sharon can't imagine ever wanting to do anything else.
- Sharon's responsible for making some seriously great wines for others – thousands over her 30-year career. But she's always disappointed after the wine's shipped off... all that hard work, and she never hears what becomes of it!
- Now that you've made her an independent winemaker, she loves sharing her big, enthusiastic winemaking style with Angels – and hearing what you think!
