Best before
Some people like their Cabernets to be fruity and intense - which this wine is in its youth. And some people prefer it more mellow and complex - which this wine will develop over time.
Serving advice
Giving a young wine wine time to breathe is always a good thing, but not a necessity. As the wine gets older, decanting should be limited to removal of sediments - as the aromatics can change quickly.
Food match
Because of the chewy tannin structure, this wine can pair with any food from fish meat to vegan. One of my favorite pairings is with pan-fried salmon, no oil. As the salmon cooks, its own oils will coat the pan and create a concentrated sauce.

Meet the winemaker - Rudy von Strasser
Rudy von Strasser is a Napa legend — he played a huge part in founding the Diamond Mountain District, famous for its Cabernet. By rallying everyone in the region, he put the AVA (American Viticultural Area) on the map in 1999!
Rudy met Naked through Alex Farber — he was looking to expand his portfolio with some beautiful Petite Sirah, but didn’t have enough room in his winery.
Angel funding helped make that Petite Sirah possible. When he brought us his other wines, we knew we’d hit the jackpot! Rudy’s now able to share his wide range of Diamond Mountain District wines with Angels across the country.
