Wow.... Smooth, fruity red wine for a Saturday afternoon. Wonderful ! Malbec's always need a close look, this one happens to be great!

First sips upon opening. Next ones, after about an hour of aeration. Excellent both methods. I did let it rest for several weeks after arrival. Lots of dark fruit, smooth, balanced, very nice finish. This one definitely will be a crowd pleaser, it is so representative of the goals of a great cab sauv. I'll try pairing later, but a great sipper to start; great potential for pairing and aging. The wine needs to deliver for it's price point, and it sure did for me! I tried to think of a reason to give it a 4.5, but for my tastes, it is simply a 5. Fellow members, remember, NW has us covered for satisfaction, splurge on this one for sure! Welcome Mitchell, thanks for making this wine for all of us, looking forward to your next wines!

Very nice and somewhat unique flavors on the dark fruit profile. When I find a new or unique flavor or note like that in a red wine, a flavor that I either like or love, it's going to get a good rating! I really liked both the expected and the unexpected

Mitchell Masotti Sonoma Rose 2021

A few Rose reviews got away from me, several Rose wines which we enjoyed in the heat of August evenings! Catching up now. This Rose is an interesting blend of varietals, and worth reading the details on the NW web page. NW offers several Roses at higher price points, which allows for more variety in tasting several different levels of background, sources, and efforts behind the wines. I've found it very helpful in developing my wine experience to try the full range of NW Roses (and I did this summer!). This one is elegant, balanced, nice fruit flavors, smooth and very refreshing. Nicely dry/off dry for my tastes. Would be a great Rose to share with guests. Thanks for your efforts on this nice wine!

Matt Parish Contra Costa Rosé of Carignan & Mourvèdre 2021

Another of Matt Parish's unique Roses I enjoyed in late summer. The actually tasting just as worthy of praise as the web page tempting description, and the elegant bottle and light rose coloration of the wine. Light, crisp, refreshing, chilled well and sipped in the evening. Roses drink so smoothly, important to watch your glass count on those warm summer evenings! Will watch for your future Roses!

Franc Dusak Los Carneros Sonoma Valley Gewurztraminer 2022

I trend to drier wines with an occasional sweeter choice. Definitely a gewurztraminer on the sweeter side for me, and wonderful! Franc is a classic NW guy, and we like to try all his wines we can get. This one is smooth and balanced, we chilled well and enjoyed in the garden as the temp dropped a bit back from 90 as the high. Clear skies after wafting Quebecois smoke the last few days. Best wishes for the Quebec friends these days! Anyway, enjoy this wine sipping, or try to slip a handful of blueberries in for a special treat. Thanks Franc, great job on this one!

Jacqueline Bahue Sonoma Valley Cabernet Franc 2019

It's hard to think entirely objectively about the vintages and series of the Bahue Cab Franc wines for NW at this advanced point. All I know is I try to order each one I come across, and enjoy them as part of a long journey. I age them when I can, or drink them sooner when I crave the bold, yet smooth and full-flavored profiles. This bottle, as the others in the journey, was great. It has definitely become a tradition, and long series of great tastings. For anyone interested, but not on the Bahue Cab Franc bus yet, get on board now! Thanks, and looking forward to future Cab Francs!

While not a huge Rose drinker, I do like to try them in summer, and this summer I tried quite a few! This is a medium price point Rose, and especially enjoyable to taste after reading the web page description, and hearing Matt's backgound, description, and tasting notes online. So much more to consider and understand with that background, and made for a very enjoyable tasting and summer evening refreshment. Classic Rose flavors and balance, nice off-dry profile to my tastes, will definitely watch for future vintages! Cheers!

I enjoyed this as well as your other Roses from this recent summer Matt! Each was fantastic. Your webcast from several months ago which featured the Roses really inspired me in this effort. The dry and off dry profiles for my tastes were great, and this was another crisp, lighter, well balanced and flavorful choice for summer (or a fall day where you want to feel as if it is summer!). Refreshing for sure. I really enjoy these medium price point Roses with different winemaking approaches, and info available on the website. Thanks for your efforts!

A little bonus rating for bringing a taste of Slovenia to Maryland through this wine! Very nice Sauv Blanc, and first rating in my own effort to do more pairings feedback. Restaurant quality chicken tikka masala worked fantastically with this wine! Great citrus and tropical fruit, and great for sipping as well. Did a little Slovenian genealogy research after dinner! Rabbit & Spaghetti Rose of Sangiovese 2021

Nice moderate Rose for approaching warm weather. Off dry and nice balance, muted fruit for my tastebuds, well balanced and soft approach. I'm giving an extra half a heart for the great label and background, we were not able to get Rabbit and Spaghetti in Maryland in previous years, we can now. I appreciate postcards and letter covers from the WWII era, and totally get the postal marks label art!!!! Thanks for the interesting wine offering!
