A rich red from Southern Rhône's Cairanne - an iron hand in a velvet glove
With deep, dark flavors like juicy black cherry and ripe blackberry – plus a silky, spicy finish – this is Southern Rhône Grenache in its most beautiful expression. “Les Voconces (named after Cairanne’s first inhabitants) represents my best – elegant and powerful,” says Denis.
With your support, Denis harvested Grenache (and a smidge of Mourvèdre) late in the season from sundrenched, south-facing hillside vineyards in the Southern Rhône that are protected from the strong Mistral winds, which helps yield a wine fine enough to be called Cru Cairanne.
Cru Cairanne has only been around since 2016, so Angel support is key to the survival of this tiny but mighty region for generations to come. Support Denis and his village – get your share of these 280 cases before they disappear.

This is excellent with dishes like roast beef, ribs, smoked duck and T-bone steak, but it's also a standalone wine you can simply share with friends.
