About the wine
You've found your everyday Pinot
-
With juicy flavors like freshly-picked cherries, perky cranberries and bright raspberries this is your any-day-of-the-week Pinot. Yours for a song!
-
With your funding, Stephen harvested Pinot from a sustainably-grown Lodi vineyards in the Jahant and Mokelumne River sub-regions of Lodi. “We used the best grapes from our best vineyards,” he said.
-
This wine debuted to historic fanfare in its first vintage, nearly selling out entirely in 48 hours. True insiders know – when you see this Pinot return, you snatch it up – else you’ll be counting down 365 days until it returns again!
Best before
This will benefit with some bottle age to elevate itself for the next several years. But honestly, I don't know how you could delay opening a stellar bottle of wine for that long. Really!
Serving advice
I'm all about getting this wine opened up about 30 minutes or so before pouring that first taste. That'll give it enough time to stretch out and get itself together.
Food match
Liz's sister is a commercial fisherwoman in Sitka, Alaska, so our freezer is stocked. Our current fave is grilled salmon with olive oil, lemon juice and one pat of unsalted Irish butter on top.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.

Bottle #6 was delicious. Unfortunately the baked rock fish wasn't.
Oh well. At least I know the pinot will always be up to the pairing.
