David Akiyoshi Petite Sirah Clarksburg 2013
About the wine
Nothing petite about it
- David uses a touch of Petite Sirah in his rave review red blend so our Angels wanted to taste it all on its own. The result is a dark, brooding and beautiful wine.
- Clarksburg, the coolest-climate part of Lodi, is not very well known so David uses his Angel funding to get incredible fruit at a bargain price. You won't believe your taste buds.
- Quintessential easy-drinking BBQ wine. Thick, tangy and easy to throw back a glass.
Best before
Big enough to age, but feel free to tuck in now
Serving advice
Pour a glass and let it breathe, decant if possible - this will just get bigger and better once it loosens up.
Food match
Thick cut of meat with some nice tangy BBQ sauce
Contains sulphites
