Scott Peterson ROX Sonoma White Blend 2014
About the wine
Mind-blowing blend that redefines the freshness and zest of Sonoma Coast whites
- This is classic Scott Peterson, daringly blending 3 grapes that you never see together to make a mind-blowing, super-seductive wine. He got rave reviews for his crazy All Blacks blend - and this is the white wine version.
- Rampant fruit overflows from every glass - a cornucopia of aromatic delights, Sauvignon gives ripe melons, Albarino gives lime zest and the Aligote lends a distinct whiff of lemon custard. The extended sur lie aging builds texture and weight but keeps the wine light and refreshing.
- Once again, Scott uses Angel funding to chase the very best flavors on the Sonoma Coast, and he brings them together in a way that can only be described as visionary. It's an amazing white.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Scott Peterson
Scott spent over 20 years making wine for storied Sonoma wineries like Kendall-Jackson and Buena Vista – as well as Argentina’s Nicolás Catena Family of Wines and Chile’s Axel and La Playa Wines – before Angel support allowed him to march to his own drum.
Scott loves working with Angel funding because you allow him to make the wines he wants to. He's old school, and he doesn't want to make new styles just because they’re trendy.
If you like gloriously decadent, no-holds-barred wines, buy everything Scott makes. You will not regret it.
