English American and NZ hops combine to produce a flavoursome black beer with a solid bitter aftertaste. Brewed with Pilgrim Amarillo Admiral and Wakatu hops for a complex flavour. This beer is probably what some would term a 'Black IPA' but we don't like the term. We've called it what it is - a black hoppy bitter. A touch of chocolate at first with black malt used at the end of the sparge to extract the colour.
