It all began in a garage in 2008 where Brad and Gazz homebrewed on weekends. They got pretty good at it and being beer geeks at heart they always took things that one step further. In 2010 the idea for Tiny Rebel was born, with a few thousand pounds investment into some decent 50 litre homebrewing equipment and a pallet load of ingredients to get us going. Let the research commence. During the R&D phase of perfecting our recipes our focus was also on our brand. We wanted Tiny Rebel to represent us and things that we were interested in growing up - Urban culture, 90's music, being a bit rebellious and not taking ourselves too seriously. So we created a ruffed up bear armed with a spray can who was ready to take on the world. After 2 years of grafting, test brewing on week nights and on weekends (clocking up over 150+ brews) we officially launched in February 2012 with two solid beers, FUBAR and Urban IPA. Little did we know that both beers would go on to win awards. Shortly after the launch we released Cwtch and Dirty Stop Out and added them to our core range. In April 2013 we decided to take Tiny Rebel global and began exporting to Denmark and Australia. After years of being inspired by American IPAs it was time to produce our own. Hadouken, our 7.4% Amplified IPA was born and has been at the heart of our beer line up ever since. It'a a dedication to the classic special move from one of our favourite video games from back in the 90's.
