Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll add a credit to your account. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
Step aside Champers and get a load of these classy vintage bubbles
-
Limoux is a legendary spot for crafting sparkling wines. In fact, it's where the "bottle fermentation" process (that we now know as "Méthode Traditionnelle") was first discovered. That makes it the first sparkling wine made in France... step aside Champers.
-
This very unique Crémant proves the immense quality of Limoux sparkling wine. It combines Chardonnay, Chenin and Mauzac (a grape native to the area), to create a fabulous structure and minerality. It's incredibly distinctive and brimming over with jubilant style.
-
Made using the traditional local grape Mauzac, it’s an elegant, easy-drinking style of bubbly with delicious aromas of lemon citrus, white fruits and almonds, buttery apple crumble and honey. This all rolls through to a delightfully clean, fresh finish. A perfect wine for celebrations big and small.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Francoise and Baptiste Gazeau
- Françoise and Baptiste grew up in Limoux, a small town in the foothills of the Pyrenees mountains. Both born into winemaking families and growing up with, the hustle and bustle of a busy harvest comes second nature to them.
- After both leaving Limoux after finishing school - Françoise to work for L'Oréal in Paris, and Baptiste to travel the world - both were inevitably drawn back to the vineyards of their childhoods.
- They're a pair of some serious pedigree - Françoise is a seasoned pro who made her first vintage back in '96, and Baptiste has travelled the winemaking world over, visiting over 800 estates in 25 countries, tasting around 10, 000 wines in the process. Together they make fabulous, traditional Mauzac wines, made exclusively in Limoux.
